The Limitations of Staying Unlicensed
“I Love Cutting Hair, But…”
Maybe you’ve been cutting hair for friends and family without
training, or maybe you’re stuck in a job that doesn’t go anywhere. Without a license, you’re limited. You feel the frustration of wanting to do more but not having the credentials to back it up. The longer you wait, the harder it feels to take that next step.
From Passion to Profession
We’ll Help You Turn Your Passion Into a Profession
We know barbering isn’t just a job, it’s an art and a trade. You want to master fades, shaves, and styles while building a career that gives you pride and stability.
That’s why our accredited barber programs go beyond the basics. Our 1,200-hour Barber program (300 more than the Florida minimum) includes training in hair cutting and styling, hair coloring, permanent waving, scalp and hair treatments, shampooing, and hair straightening—plus advanced techniques like fades, hot towel shaves, and hair replacement. Our 600-hour Restricted Barber program focuses on core skills such as hair cutting and styling (including blow drying), scalp and hair treatments, and shampooing. Both programs include supervised client work, so you’ll graduate confident and fully prepared to pass your exam. With decades of industry experience, our instructors guide you every step of the way.
You can become the licensed barber you’ve always wanted to be, and we’ll help you get there.

Questions Future Barbers Ask Most
I already know how to cut hair, so why do I need a license?
A license means you can work legally, attract more clients, and charge professional rates. It’s the difference between a hobby and a career.
Isn’t 1200 hours a long program?
While 1200 hours may sound long, if you’re consistent and attend Tuesday to Saturday, 9 AM to 4 PM, you can finish in about 34–35 weeks. However, we also have a 600-hour restricted barber course. Call today to find out more.
What if I can’t afford it?
Financial aid is available for those who qualify. Our admissions team can walk you through your options.
What jobs can I get after graduation?
You can work in barbershops, men’s salons, or even open your own shop. Barbering also offers one of the most flexible self-employment opportunities in the beauty industry.
Do you teach fades and hot towel shaves?
Yes. Our program includes advanced training in fades, modern styles, and classic shaving techniques so you graduate fully prepared.
